Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc.'s new high frequency (HF) handheld reader/writer is a high-performance RFID appliance designed for information management, data collection and data transfer. The reader is ideally suited for access control, asset tracking, warehouse management, and livestock tagging.

This portable LF RFID reader/writer is IP54 standard compliant and equipped with two PSAM cards. It meets all endurance criteria in terms of resistance to water, shock and dust and performs well in any harsh environment. The reader's ultra-low power consumption allows it to work for up to 10 days on a charge. In addition, this easy-to-operate device has a RAM capacity of 64Mbit and a flash memory range from 16Mbit to 144Mbit.
